There is so much to learn as a writer, isn't there? So many new techniques, so many POVs or tenses to play around with and hopefully (someday) gain some proficiency in. And then we have our own style and voice to develop! What a journey.
So it can become kind of discouraging sometimes when you learn something new as a writer and realize how much work you have to do do incorporate this new lesson into your writing, or when you look back and realize how much revision you now have to do on your current WIP.
How do we balance learning and writing? How can we keep moving forward without erasing everything we've ever written up to that point?
