Doubts and such

"Best thing is to get the words down every day."

It's easy to have doubts about the work we're doing. It's easy to wonder what's the point, or why am I doing this, or will anything ever come of it? But the truth is, I love this story and am enjoying the work. So, as Steinbeck says, "Best thing is to get the words down every day."

The first chapter is settled, at least for now, to the point where I feel I can finally embark on the rest of the story.
