Yesterday was a day when I wrote zero words. We all have these days from time to time, when the hours get away from us, and by the time we actually have a moment, our minds are too weary to get anything down.
That was yesterday for me. So, today I begin again, giving myself grace and committing again to the story.
I also talk about how important thinking time can be, even when writing doesn't get done. It's often how we direct our minds in the boring moments, when we're driving, when we're waiting, that can give us major insights into he writing of the story.
So, pay attention to what you're thinking about, and always, even on days when no writing is done, spend time thinking about your story, your characters.
