Thank you for the book recs! I love that the most! ♥️ today is a tough day for me as I am taking my beloved cat, Chino, to go home to the rainbow bridge early this evening. The waiting time has been torture... 🌈 so I understand the grief. I'll be sad a while but not forever. Though happier moments are few anymore as I am getting older, if ever fleeting, I am still so grateful for them and to have had these 6 years with my boy kitty. Thanks for writing!
It just makes me feel better, to hear you confess your grumpiness. Today has been very discouraging to me, in business sand in life, and I kinda wanna burn it all down, in a 9 sort of a way. Glad you're pressing through and disregarding the naysayers--real or perceived.
"yes, I've been a bit grumpy, but I've also felt a profoundly deep gratefulness for the truly meaningful things in my life ( a list that's shrinking as I get older, being winnowed down)."
I SO get this Shawn, perhaps you'll find that list growing even smaller in another decade - I'm nearly two decades older than you and that has been my experience. God is so very good and faithful whenever and wherever we find ourselves in the winnowing journey He has us on. Blessings in Christ, brother.
A serialized novel on Substack. For the past two years, I have been considering doing the very same thing. I will be following along closely to see how you do it, technically speaking. Plus, I am excited to read the story. Nothing helps process grief and grumpiness like creating art.

I'm so sorry, Laura!
Shawn I have been " a groupie" for for- ever and I am happy to see you writing again - actually to see us both writing again.
I know you have Andrea...and I'm glad you're writing.

I'm sorry about the discouragement, Tresta...I can definitely relate. Hang in there. Sometimes a new week can bring you what you need.

Thanks for the encouragement, Katie.
Good for you, Shawn! Love the transparency.
